Developed jointly at MIT and the University of California in the early 1990’s, our technologies originally emerged from human behavioral and perception research. With an innovative human centered approach to visual simulation, the first high-end interactive systems were built. Funded by several multi-million dollar grants, the technologies rapidly evolved. Significant interest from industry and academia resulted the technologies being spun off to WorldViz. From that start we quickly advanced to being the industry leader in interactive head-mounted display based virtual reality systems.
